1. Services

Handyman South Florida provides professional handyman and repair services for residential and commercial properties throughout South Florida. Our services include but are not limited to: drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance.

2. Service Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes or if additional issues are discovered during the project.
  • We will communicate any changes to the estimate before proceeding with additional work.
  • Pricing does not include permits or inspections unless specifically included in the estimate.

3. Scheduling & Appointments

  • We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window.
  • If we need to reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in a cancellation fee for future appointments.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made.
  • We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

5. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our workmanship, please contact us within 30 days of service completion, and we will make it right at no additional cost. This guarantee covers labor only and does not cover materials, pre-existing conditions, or issues caused by normal wear and tear.

6. Limitations of Service

Please note that:

  • We are a handyman service and not a licensed contractor for major renovations or structural work.
  • Certain electrical and plumbing work may require licensed specialists, which we will advise you of.
  • We do not perform work that requires permits unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
  • We reserve the right to decline any job that falls outside our scope of services.

7. Property Access & Preparation

  • You must provide clear access to the work area.
  • We recommend removing or protecting valuable items near the work area.
  • Pets should be secured away from the work area for their safety and ours.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to protect your property during service.

8. Liability

While we take every precaution to protect your property, Handyman South Florida's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors beyond our control. We carry general liability insurance for your protection.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Handyman South Florida and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the state of Florida.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
